Biography:
Attorney John H. Cassidy, Jr. was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on April 26, 1924. He has achieved an “AV” rating (preeminent rating for legal ability and ethical standards) by Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system.
Attorney Cassidy served in the U.S. Army during World War II from March, 1943 through August, 1946.
He has served on numerous boards and commissions, including the Watertown Zoning Board of Appeals; past President Watertown Foundation; past President and Charter Member, Watertown Rotary Club; past President, Litchfield County University Club; past President and Founder, Watertown Hockey League; former Police Commissioner, Town of Watertown; former Member, Committee on Recommendations to the Connecticut Bar.
Attorney Cassidy is currently Secretary of the American-Republican, Incorporated and Secretary and Director of The Siemon Company.
