John J. Palmeri

Attorney Palmeri is a Certified Public Accountant and was formerly a Senior Tax Manager with the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young.

Attorney Palmeri was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1979 by Brooklyn College, City University of New York, Brooklyn, New York, a Juris Doctor degree in 1984 by Brooklyn Law School, Brooklyn, New York and a Masters of Law in Taxation in 1987 by the Quinnipiac University Graduate School of Law, Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Attorney Palmeri currently serves as Secretary of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the Tax Section Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association. He is also a member of the Tax Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Attorney Palmeri is a former member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Board of Governors, as well as past chair of its Trust, Estate and Gift Taxation Committee, and Federal Tax Division Steering Committee.
